Continuing on from Animalia, our first collection with Clarke and Clarke; Wilderie is our biggest ever launch of fabrics and wallpapers, that have been years in the making. The fantastical, nature-inspired collection travels from Africa to America via British fairytales, always with a touch of surreal fantasy.
The name ‘Wilderie’ comes from the words Wild: Living in a state of nature, and Reverie: A daydream.
The collection is made up of 10 intricately hand-drawn designs featuring a wild array of mystical creatures, across a menagerie of unique wallpapers and fabrics including cotton satin, velvet and a new range of beautifully textured linens, and plain silks.

Many of the Wilderie Wallpapers have stunning metallic details that add an extra element of luxury and depth, that shine beautifully when they catch the light. With so many intricate designs, they create a vibrantly exotic scheme, that is both colourful and rich in detail.
To complement the printed Wilderie fabrics and wallpapers we created the Felis wallpaper, a striking animal print design with flecks of metallic, and rich depth of colour. The 11 unique colourways pair perfectly with bold prints of a similar palette. The images below feature the turquoise Felis wallpaper with the pink Zambezi Velvet.
Another exciting addition to the EJS fabric line-up is our new collection of linens. The striking designs come in a menagerie of bright colourways and beautifully neutral grounds, that work so well on the textured linen base. The heavyweight linen makes for perfectly draped curtains, blinds, upholstery, and cushions, and adds a homely rustic feel to any interior.
Our brand new plain Sylph silks perfectly match every design in the collection. The luxurious dupion textured silk has a jewel-like light-reflecting lustre to it, that makes for stunning curtains, cushions, and drapery and adds a striking block colour element, that helps to complete a room.
