How to Remove Leftover Wax from Your Candle, Ready to Reuse!

Using hot water, learn how I easily removed the last of the candle wax from my fine china Highlandia Candle vessel so I can re-purpose the beautiful pot...

To prepare your EJS candle vessel for re-use...

1. Carefully pour hot water into the Fine China vessel (just slightly after boiling so it’s not too hot!)

2. Leave to soak for about an hour - the wax will float to the top⁠

3. Once the water has cooled, remove the hardened wax disc⁠

4. Remove the wick and and excess wax and wash the vessel with warm water and soap

Voila! ⁠

TIP: Rather than wasting the wax you have leftover, use the solidified wax in a wax melt burner
