We hope you’re already enjoying our new website and all the added features… We’re particularly proud of the new ability to filter products on the shop by ‘Habitat’ - you can find items categorised by the natural surrounding of the creatures featured in our designs.
With this in mind, we thought it would be interesting to match each of the habitats with an item that’s perfect for that location - if you’re planning a holiday this year then read on to find out what you should be packing!
Jungle
If you’re planning an exotic jungle trip, we can’t think of anything better than the Audubon Shirt to keep you both cool and protected from the elements (and insects) as you trek through the undergrowth. The design was inspired by Amazonian parrots and is sure to be a success in any tropical environment.
Sky
It’s important to pack for every part of your journey, and if you’re flying to your destination then we think the Macaw shawl is a perfect travel companion. Our luxurious shawl is large enough to wrap around yourself to protect from the air-con chill or even to use as a blanket while you snooze. Super soft and warm in an Italian modal and silk blend, we’re sure the Macaw design will be a hit at 30,000 feet!
Ice
If you’re eschewing a beach holiday this year in favour of a colder habitat then we have to recommend our Polar Collection of scarves. All will keep you warm on your travels, but we particularly love the Odin silk chiffon scarf, with a cracked ice border and winged Arctic foxes. Wrap up in this design inspired by Polar expeditions and have your own icy adventure…
Plains
An African safari has to be one of the greatest adventures - in fact a trip to the Kruger national park inspired a number of our scarves and womenswear, including these luxurious silk trousers. We would love to go game-spotting wearing these along with a simple white t-shirt and a wide-brimmed hat.
Woodland
If a countryside excursion is more your sort of thing, then you might like our Watership Down and Aesop’s Fables inspired Frith design, here in glorious woodland greens. It’s sure to keep you warm in unpredictable weather and we hope will accompany you on your own fairytale adventure!
Those are our suggestions - what piece of Emma J Shipley would you take on holiday?
