Polaroid Diary: Summer Campaign Shoot

Back in October we spent a great day shooting the soon-to-be-launched collection of scarves, womenswear and the eagerly anticipated Disney Tinker Bell scarves. After the success of last year's Polar campaign shoot, we pulled together the same team of super stylist Coline Bach and fashion photographer Claire Huish (read our interview with Claire here) to create what we think is a captivating series of photographs featuring the lovely Lottie Richman in a selection of pieces from the new collection. Before the release of the official images, we thought we'd share with you our polaroid diary from the day. We can't wait to show you the final pictures...

The shoot took inspiration from renaissance paintings and the womenswear collection was given a medieval twist with chainmail headpieces, cuffs, helmets and a metal glove - all of which captured a mood of imagination and contrasted the fantasy-inspired prints perfectly. We loved including a selection from our first ever line of womenswear, including silk kaftans and oversized shirts in the safari Kruger print. Though perhaps the luxurious sheer kaftans may be best worn on the beach rather than in a medieval castle...

Tinker Bell made her magical appearance as the scarves transformed as tops and skirts and Lottie captivated the camera as we're sure mischievous Tinker Bell would have! The shoot also provided the ideal opportunity to pick out certain colours from the designs and compliment them with bold backgrounds and metallic accessories...

Keep posted as The Disney Tinker Bell Collection will be sprinkling some pixie dust on the online store next week for the first time and the official campaign images will be released next month, along with the brand new collection. It's an exciting time at EJS!
