Osborne & Little

Osborne & Little spotted Emma's work at her Royal College of Art degree show, and commissioned this special design for wallpaper and interior fabrics. The the design 'Kayyam', Emma took inspiration from classic trailing British textile designs from the Arts & Crafts movement and botanical studies by John James Audubon. She twisted these references with her signature surreal touches, creating curious birds and anamalistic foliage in a half-imagined world. The original design was hand drawn in graphite pencil, before being carefully replicated in the final fabric and wallpapers. The result is a thoroughly modern design with a resonance of heritage. Launched Spring 2013.
