This week London showcased the best in menswear design at London Collections: Men which ran for three days in the capital and featured designers such as Craig Green, Astrid Anderson, James Long and Christopher Kane. All were showing their Spring 2015 collections on the catwalk, which varied from punk and giant pom poms in the form of Sibling, deep jewel shades and floppy hats from Burberry and eighties logo-mania courtesy of Moschino.
Here at Emma J Shipley, it was the use of interesting prints by a handful of designers that caught our attention. Here's the pick of our three favourite print-focused collections:
We especially loved the Japanese-inspired brushstroke prints and tailored two-pieces from design duo and fellow CFE pioneers, Agi & Sam.
Christopher Kane
Emma J Shipley favourite, Christopher Kane, pulled out all the futuristic stops with a collection full of abstract and trompe l'oeil prints in a variety of primary colours.
Finally, JW Anderson's carpet-inspired prints and jacquard knits were easy menswear elegance and gave a nod to female shapes in his signature style.
