Last year saw Emma attend the UK Fashion and Textile Awards and scoop the prestigious RISE Newcomer Award. This May, Emma was back at the glittering awards ceremony once again - this time (minus the nerves) she was simply there to enjoy the night and celebrate 2014's offering of innovative fashion and textile talent!
Set in the wonderful Tobacco Dock, the evening saw host to a number of industry leaders from the fashion business, including renowned fashion journalist Hilary Alexander and Dame Margaret Barbour, who won the Natwest Outstanding Achievement award for her iconic British brand, Barbour.
The ceremony included two fashion shows and an auction in aid of Save The Children as well as plenty of food, drink and dancing. Other winners on the night included Margaret Howell, Christopher Raeburn and House of Holland.
Emma styled her outfit with the Audubon silk twill scarf (worn as a belt) and a selection of stunning pieces from our Atelier Swarovski by Emma J Shipley collection - launching in the next few months!
It's always a treat to enjoy a night celebrating the exceptional contributions of individuals towards the fashion and textile industry, and Emma had a truly wonderful evening - although the champagne and late-night dancing showed its effects the following day...
