Back in 2013 Emma won the Emerging Fashion Brand Award at the WGSN Global Fashion Awards, with a €12,000 prize sponsored by Avery Dennison RBIS.

Avery Dennison RBIS are a global leader in packaging and labelling solutions, and part of their vision is to make every brand more inspiring. They have a genuine passion for fashion brands, and work with many emerging designers (as well as global brands) to help translate ideas into reality. One of their strengths is high-definition graphic embellishments, and it was with this in mind that they got in touch with Emma again in 2015. They were interested in using some of our designs to test and showcase some of their latest HD weaving. A few weeks after sending some designs to their specialist factory in the province of Ascoli Piceno in Italy, Emma took a trip with their trends team to see the sampling in progress.

It was amazing to see this cutting edge technology first hand and to see some of our signature designs translated into such intricate and colourful weaves. We hope you'll agree that the level of detail they've achieved is quite incredible! These were just the first experiments; we can't wait to see what they do next and we're certainly feeling inspired...
