Day 4 of London Fashion Week was greeted by blue skies and a welcome dose of sunshine brightening up a previously dreary Somerset House. This meant a refreshed Monday morning crowd of fashion week visitors and plenty more exciting collections and shows debuting.

Another hugely talented design duo and our studio neighbours, Fyodor Golan, presented a collection of neon brights, sequinned sportswear and dresses in photographic prints. However the main focus of the collection came in the form of a collaboration with My Little Pony, featuring playful chest motifs printed on dresses and sweatshirts. We liked their mischievous interpretation of the girly childhood favourite, combining iridescent fabrics and kitsch appliqué badges of rainbows and flowers. We nipped over to their showroom to get a closer look at the fun pieces, and fell in love with a candy pink shirt and a colourful pair of green PVC boots!

It was an exciting day for the team, as our summer campaign film was being screened in the Courtyard Showspace at lunchtime. Joined by a host of other fashion films from some of the brands showcasing this season, our Aesop Collection film was in good company and it was great to see it in all its fairytale glory on the big screen.

Lottie captivated the camera in a elegantly put together short film, focusing on the prints from our summer Aesop Collection, including the debut line of luxury womenswear. Close-up detail shots and an original piece of music composed especially for the campaign film created an atmospheric, personal look at the new collection. The film will be launching exclusively online next week - keep posted for more details…
As day 4 continued so did the streams of visitors to the Emma J Shipley showroom - which provided plenty of opportunities for trying on the new collection. We’ve been lucky enough to have lovely neighbours in our designer showroom, and Parisian designer Fifi Chachnil is just one of them. Her frivolous and typically French designs are full of theatre and femininity, and Fifi herself is the walking embodiment of the brand with her bright blonde hair and signature style! Fifi chose her favourite scarf, the Extinct design in pink silk chiffon, and styled it perfectly for a quick polaroid before the end of the day!

One of our loyal fans and stockists, Christine Barro, popped by and grabbed a picture with Emma in her favourite scarf, the Pegasus design. Christine runs an amazing Melbourne boutique called Christine Accessories, where our scarves are stocked. We’d love to be able to check out Christine’s Australian store at some point in the future!

Tune in tomorrow for the final instalment of our LFW daily diary before it’s all over for another season…
