It’s been all systems go at Emma J Shipley HQ as London Fashion Week comes around once again. On Saturday 15th February we set up our showroom for just one day in The Gallery at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden. It was the official launch of our Snow Leopard collection with Atelier Swarovski - a unique collaboration that’s seen Emma design a range of scarves and accompanying jewellery.
To match the glittering collection, we pulled out all the stops for fashion week with beautiful bespoke flower displays designed by the talented Elisa Pettigrew. The blooms even provided the ideal spot for a couple of the snow leopard scarf rings to sit amongst. It was Hackney favourites the Meringue Girls who provided us with our fashion fuel for the day - approximately 170 blue and white homemade mini meringues that came in coconut and gin & tonic flavour and kept our visitors pleased.
Make sure you keep an eye out later this year when our amazing Atelier Swarovski collaboration hits the shops - if you’re an Emma J Shipley fan with a penchant for some sparkle it might just be the thing for you.
The fashion fun continued this week with London Fashion Weekend at Somerset House where we pitched up for the third season running ready with rails of exclusive scarf bargains. From Thursday to Sunday our stand was jam-packed with shoppers of all ages keen to strike a sartorial deal. Alongside our current Autumn/Winter ’13 collection we had a huge range of sale bargains that found new homes with some very happy customers.
Thursday’s Fashion’s First Night event at Somerset House saw us host an evening champagne reception and launched our LFWend Scarf Style competition which ran for the duration of the event (congratulations to the lucky winner!). Achy feet and several cups of coffee aside, we had a fantastic four days of selling scarves and spreading the Emma J Shipley word!
This week it’s off to Paris we go for more fashion week happenings, so make sure you keep updated on our travels by following Emma J Shipley on all our social media. We’ll try our hardest to keep you in the loop…
